2011 will certainly be remembered as the year of rebellion in the Arab world. Right now, it's a year of possibilities that we can look forward to with a renewed sense of optimism, thanks to the struggles of the people of Tunisia and Egypt and across the Middle East.

Egyptian protesters denounce attack on Tunisian soccer players
Some 1000 citizens gathered outside the Tunisian Embassy in Cairo to denounce the attack by Zamalek fans on Tunisia's Club Africain players during the soccer match between the two teams on Saturday. The protesters chanted slogans indicating that what happened does not reflect the Egyptian people, but the “counter-revolution” -- that is, attempts to eliminate the gains of the 25 January Revolution.
